Westminster Abbey London: 3D App and Map Pre-Wedding

The Royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is only a few days away now, and an application which has received the couple’s approval has just been released. Abbey 3D 1.0 has stunning images of Westminster Abbey London, and as well as being a 3D app, users can view maps pre-wedding.

Released by Creation Studio Productions Ltd the app gives users access inside the 1,000 year old church, and can even see parts which won’t be shown on the big day itself. There are also historic facts and figures about the abbey, and a bird’s eye view of the royal church.

Proceeds from sales of the application will go to charities close to Prince Williams and Kate Middleton’s hearts. These include Beatbullying, the Army Widows Association, Earthwatch, and Westminster Abbey Foundation. This helps with the upkeep of the historic building.

Abbey 3D 1.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for $4.99/£2.99. Requires iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with iOS 3.1.2 or later.
